Bu vefayatta Rifa’at Hoca’n?n k?sa akademik hayat?, Osmanl? tarihçili?indeki yeri, talebeleriyle olan yak?n ili?kisi ve özel hayat? çok olarak verilmi?tir. 1933 y?l?nda Filistin’de do?an hoca üniversite e?itimi kariyeri de dahil olmak üzere hayat?n?n büyük ço?unlu?unu ABD’nde geçirdi 89 ya??nda New York’ta vefat etti. Sürekli ö?renme bilgisini payla?ma a???? bir birçok ö?rencisinin tarihe bak???n? etkiledi. tarihine en önemli katk?lar?ndan biri çökü? paradigmas?na kar?? geçi? dönemi analizleri olmu?tur.
